From a young age, I held a deep-seeded desire to make a difference, almost a burning need to help others. And many times I have thought that it seems almost a universalĀ desire among people. Whether it's an inherent biological ideal or a cultural concept rooted deep within our psyche, I believe the urge to impact lives for the better is a shared human trait. I've run into it time after time, across all ages, walks of life, and across cultures. š¤š
Many of usĀ haveĀ dreams of writing, of becoming authors, of sharing our stories with the world. There are countless programs, books, and coaches now to help you "write a book."Ā And with over 8 billion people on the planet, there why not? We all love to find stories that resonate with us personally. There is certainly room for people to share their stories and life's lessons. Someone will always benefit.Ā š
And yet, life has a way of throwing obstacles in our pathārealities, responsibilities, busyness, and even our own insecurities.Ā As universal as it is to want to share our stories, so too is it universal toĀ find ourselves feeling stuck in the gunk of existence, unable to pursue our passions.Ā ā³
That's where The Lotus Effect comes in, aĀ concept that resonates soĀ deeply with me. It embodies the resilience of the lotus flower, a seemingly delicate beauty that can be weighed down by mud and debrisĀ throughout the, heavily burdened by day's end but rises anew by morning, fresh and resilient.Ā I find itĀ a reflection of the stunning strength within humanity. šŖ
My journey through the past year and a half has been one of deep personal reflection, healing, and self-care. It meant rooting out toxicity in many areas of my life, finding the quiet moments for reflection, losing myself in art, and creating to heal. Taking the time to prioritize healing.Ā Honestly, I never expected a time like this in my life. But it was deeply needed. AndĀ one that required letting go of much but rewarded me with so much more in return. š
As one season comes to an end, I'm excited to embrace a new oneāa season of sharing. I look forward to crafting new Lotus Effect stories, fostering ideas, creating art, and inspiring others on their journeys. ššØš”
The Lotus Effect isn't just my journey; it's an invitation to find yourĀ resilience, to rise from the muck, and to shareĀ yourĀ own stories of healing and growth.Ā šŖ·Ā
Because you matter. Your story matters. And you are so much stronger than you could ever possibly imagine.Ā XO šš
